CLR Combined pH electrode, gel electrolyte
The 101GEL series features highly durable, combined pH electrodes powered by a maintenance-free gel electrolyte. Engineered for versatility, they are ideal for standard laboratory routines and industrial applications involving conductive water.
Designed for seamless integration, these electrodes can be easily installed into immersion probes or flow-through sensor fittings. For harsher environments, the advanced Salt Bridge versions provide exceptional resistance against poisoning substances, ensuring stable readings and a prolonged lifespan.
Key Advantages
- Zero Maintenance: The pre-filled reference gel requires absolutely no electrolyte refilling.
- Exceptional Durability: Features a highly rugged spherical glass membrane designed to withstand demanding conditions.
- Anti-Fouling Design: Available with a specialized salt bridge and custom external gel to prevent electrode poisoning.
- All-in-One Capability: Optional built-in Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature sensors allow for simultaneous pH and temperature monitoring.
Important Configuration Notes
To ensure your custom electrode can be manufactured, please check these 3 rules:
1. HIGH TEMP (130°C): You must select the L2 Membrane. (The LR membrane is for low temperatures only).
2. PT100 / PT1000 SENSORS: You must select an Integral Cable (e.g., 1m, 5m). They are NOT compatible with S7 Screw Connectors.
3. S7 SCREW CONNECTORS: You must select No Plug. S7 is a bare thread without a wire, so BNC/DIN plugs cannot be attached. (Note: S7 connection cables are sold separately).

Calibration & Care Guide
To maximize the lifespan and accuracy of your 101GEL electrode:
Storage: Always store the electrode with the glass membrane inserted into its protection cap, filled with a pH 4 buffer solution. This keeps the sensor ready for immediate use.
Rehydration: If the electrode is left dry for an extended period, immerse it in a pH 7 buffer solution for 1 hour to fully rehydrate the membrane before measuring.
Calibration: Standard calibration can be quickly performed using pH 7 and pH 4 buffer solutions.
