CR2032 Coin Cell Case with Kapton Window is designed for in-situ characterization of battery materials during charging and discharging processes.

The 10 mm Kapton window enables X-ray beam penetration for observing battery material phase variations. The two-side window configuration further supports full penetration of in-situ X-ray or neutron diffraction analysis.

Application Note

  • To reduce X-ray photon loss and improve X-ray signal resolution, a carbon-based substrate is recommended as the current collector instead of aluminum or copper foil.
  • Electrode pellets can also be prepared using a laboratory press and dry pressing die instead of electrode-coated aluminum or copper foil.
