Kuraray Kuranode Hard carbon (non-graphitizable carbon) Powder
KURANODE™ hard carbon is made from a renewable raw material (plant based) and is commonly used as anode material in secondary batteries. It demonstrates high performance at low temperatures, high cycle ability and increased power performance compared to other anode materials in the market.
Characteristics
Input/output and low-temperature performance
Wider interlayer spacing (d002) than graphite brings excellent lithium-ion diffusibility.
Cycle performance
Volume change associated with charge and discharge process is smaller than graphite. It contributes to a longer battery life.High moisture resistance
Usable with water based binders such as SBR/CMCStandard grades and properties
