NMC811 Electrode coated on Aluminum Foil
Pack of 5 sheets
Designed for advanced Lithium-ion battery research, this high-performance electrode features single-crystal NCM811 uniformly coated on a 14 μm aluminum foil. Offering a precise active material ratio of 94.5% and a reliable specific capacity of 188 mAh/g, it ensures highly reproducible electrochemical results.
It is an ideal off-the-shelf component for assembling coin cells and pouch cells in laboratory environments.
Key Features
- Premium Material: Utilizes single-crystal NCM811 for enhanced structural stability and cycle life.
- Highly Consistent Loading: Strictly controlled coating surface density at 8.3 mg/cm² to ensure reliable cell design and capacity matching.
- Flexible Configurations: Available in single-sided or double-sided coatings, and in calendared (compacted) or uncalendared states to suit specific fabrication workflows.
Technical Specifications

*Note on Measurement Conditions: The specified specific capacity (188 mAh/g) is validated under standard laboratory conditions: Room temperature (25°C), 0.1C/0.1C charge/discharge rates, and a voltage window of 2.0V ~ 4.0V.
Preparation & Maintenance
To ensure optimal electrochemical performance and prevent moisture-induced degradation, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Pre-use Calibration (Drying): It is mandatory to bake the electrodes in a vacuum oven at 85°C for 4 hours to completely remove residual water before cell assembly.
- Shelf Life & Storage: The electrodes have a shelf life of 1 year when stored in the original intact vacuum package. Once opened, they must be used within 1 month, and stored in a dry room or an argon-filled glovebox (Dew point < -40°C) during this period.
- Handling: Always handle with clean laboratory gloves and flat-tipped tweezers to protect the coating integrity.
